"Transporting America's Future "
Welcome to the Bayfield School District Transportation Department. Our priority is the safety of all passengers, whether it be transporting to school, home or long distances.
Our department consists of seven bus routes, one Bayfield special needs route and two Durango special needs route. Our daily traveled miles would take us to Denver and back. In an average school year, we will log over 200,000 miles. We have one mechanic, responsible to assure the highest vehicle safety standards.
Our drivers are dedicated professionals. Our bus drivers are required to retain a commercial drivers license with air brakes, passenger and school bus endorsements along with current first aid certificates.
It is our pleasure to serve the Bayfield School District community.
